{"id":403,"date":"2023-03-27T16:41:28","date_gmt":"2023-03-27T21:41:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jmjatlanta.com\/?page_id=403"},"modified":"2023-07-18T08:17:38","modified_gmt":"2023-07-18T13:17:38","slug":"sniper","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.jmjatlanta.com\/index.php\/products\/sniper\/","title":{"rendered":"Sniper"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Add orders quickly with simple and fast hotkeys<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is it?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sniper is a small application that works along side Interactive Brokers Trader Workstation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do I use it?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Q &#8211; Buy at the current bid<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>W &#8211; Buy at the current bid plus $0.01<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>E &#8211; Buy at the current ask minus $0.01<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>R &#8211; Buy ad the current ask<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>U &#8211; Sell at the current bid<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I &#8211; Sell ad the current bid + $0.01<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>O &#8211; Sell at the current ask &#8211; $0.01<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>P &#8211; Sell at the current ask<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For a typical QWERTY style keyboard, you can think of the left side as the buy side, and the right side as the sell side. If you want to get in at a good price, hit the Q key and see if your bid gets hit. If you want to get in quickly and are willing to pay the asking price, hit R.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The same goes for selling, just use your right hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With &#8220;Armed&#8221; selected, orders are immediately transmitted to Interactive Brokers. Otherwise, the orders will appear in Trader Workstation, ready to be transmitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Can I use it for futures?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For now, it is only used for stocks.
